SX Orange Rewards Program Terms and Conditions




THE NUMBER OF POINTS ACCRUED IS BASED ON THE CAR TYPE THAT IS BOOKED WITH SIXT rent a car. SX Orange Rewards Program is Sixt rent a car’s Program (“Promotion”) and is open to legal residents of the UNITED STATES who are 21 years of age or older and who are bona fide travel agents employed by a licensed travel agency and in good standing with such travel agency’s human resources department at the end of the Promotion Period and at the time point redemption is authorized. Prize fulfillment will require agent to have a current IATA number. NOT OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC, ENTITIES OR ORGANIZATIONS. Entrants must be an individual. Entrants may not group bookings with other entrants or individuals. Employees, officers and directors of Sixt rent a car, LLC (“Sponsor”), its parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising, promotion, or production agencies (and their respective IRS dependents, immediate family members and individuals residing in their same household) are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by federal, state or local laws. Sponsor reserves the right, at any time, to verify eligibility requirements, in any manner it deems appropriate. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules, which are final and binding in all respects.

An “Eligible Booking” shall be defined as a booking consisting of at least 1 rental day which results in the conclusion of a rental agreement between Sixt rent a car or their global affiliates and party for which booking has been arranged and which has been received on-site at Sixt rent a car’s or its global affiliates’ premises.  Some bookings may not be eligible for point collection such as but not limited to tour package rates, insurance rates, inclusive tour rates, wholesale rates or redemption rates.

Bookings can be made through any booking method: GDS and www.sixt.com. After the eligible booking is confirmed your points will be uploaded once a month.

Entrants may not combine or group bookings with other entrants or individuals. Grouped entries or rentals will not be considered. If a guest booking is registered twice by the supplier and a retail agent, the credits will be registered with the retail agent only.

Should multiple users of the same e-mail account enter the program and a dispute thereafter arises regarding the identity of the entrant, the authorized subscriber of said e-mail account at the time of entry will be considered the entrant. “Authorized account subscriber” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Automated entries are prohibited, and any use of such automated devices will cause disqualification. All entry information become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor reserves the right to verify all entries and disqualify entries in the event of reasonable assumption of illegible, incomplete, mutilated, inaccurate, erroneous entries. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected or mutilated mail in submissions. Please see the General Conditions area for details of our policy regarding the personal information collected in connection with this Promotion.



1 or 1.5 points are accrued for each rental day depending on the car type. The number of points accrued by each agent will be deemed by the total number of booked rental days. In order for the rental days to be eligible for point accrual the booked reservation has to be converted into a rental agreement. Cancelled and no-show bookings are not eligible for point collection. Booking details and SX Rewards account number must be submitted successfully for the rental days to be counted. Point allocation for each car type is listed below and will apply to the specific vehicle that is selected at time of booking.



One Point is accrued for each rental in the car groups – M*** – P***.

1.5 points are accrued for each rental in the car groups L*** & higher. The number of points accrued by each agent will be deemed by the total number of booked rental days. Point allocation will apply to the specific vehicle that is selected at time of booking. Points are valid for 12 months from time of rental starting date.

Points can be redeemed upon accrual of 10 points at any time. Points are paid out once every quarter.

Prize fulfillment will depend on verification of qualified bookings. Point verification will be managed by Sixt rent a car.

Cash: Cash prizes will be awarded in the legal currency of the United States of America.

Upgrade’s vouchers: This prize is only valid at Sixt rent a car corporate locations.  The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of any Prize is the total of all points required for the desired redemption in US Dollar.  A W9 form (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification) will be forwarded to the winners for completion and a 1099 form will be prepared and forwarded to the winners at year’s end, in the event that the AVR of the redemptions, received by one winner, exceeds 600 USD and/or, is required by law.  All other expenses not specified herein with respect to the above prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners.

Agents must accept prize as stated, or prize will be forfeited. Taxes on prizes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winners. Prizes will only be retained by such individuals upon notice to said organizations or entities in conformity with their company/organization/entity’s internal policies regarding receipt of prizes. Prize fulfillment is subject to the company, organization or entity’s’ (with whom the individual is affiliated) internal policies. It is the company, organization or entity’s sole and ultimate responsibility to determine how and if any prize will be distributed or retained internally and Sponsor assumes no responsibility for the decisions made by such company, organization or entity regarding internal prize distribution. Prizes are subject to availability. Prizes have a validity period of one (1) year – and travel or pay out request must be completed one year from redemption date.

Accounts that are inactive for 18 months (meaning that you have not entered a booking or redeemed points) will become inactive and all points will be forfeited.



As a condition of entering, participants agree (a) that Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (“Promotion Parties”) are released, will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by participants against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to person(s), including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in this Promotion or any Promotion-related activities, including any travel related thereto; (b) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses; (c) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (d) any and all claims, judgments, and award shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys’ fees and court costs.


Sixt reserves the right to cancel or modify the SX Orange Rewards Program at any time in its sole discretion. In the event the program is cancelled or modified, Sixt will endeavor to notify all participants. In the event of a modification, the modification will be implemented effective immediately. In the event of a cancellation, no further rewards points shall be available to be earned for any future bookings, and participants will have 100 days from the cancellation date to utilize any existing points they may have accrued in the program. After such time, all unused points will be deemed null and void and shall not be redeemable for any prizes.



Neither Sponsor nor Promotion Parties are responsible for lost, illegible, late, misdirected, incomplete, mutilated, or non-delivered mail, entries or email; or for interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), Website, telephone or other connections, availability or accessibility, or miscommunications, or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, or lines, or technical failure or jumbled, garbled, corrupted, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, or computer hardware or software or telephone malfunctions, failures, or technical errors or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information. Neither Sponsor nor Promotion Parties are responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Website users, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Promotion; and assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or hacking of the Website. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with entry process or operation of Promotion or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to threaten, abuse or harass any other person. Sponsor is not responsible for injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this Promotion or downloading or copying materials from or use of Website. If, for any reason, Promotion, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, is not capable of running as planned by reason of infection by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, hacking, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes which, in sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend Promotion, and determine winners from eligible bookings received prior to action taken, or as otherwise deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor.



By entering, entrants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, participant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Florida, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. By entering, entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts located in Florida.
